i received my learning materials yesterday from ALACE & i'm on my way to becoming a certified childbirth educator! i can hardly wait! i'm definitely going to work hard & apply myself so i can get thru the course quickly, but with a very athletic toddler running around, that might be a challenge. i'm so looking forward to my future career & shaping the way our next generation is born. i look forward to putting the power back into women's hands regarding their birth experiences. i'm also looking forward to spreading the pro-breastfeeding, anti-circumcision gospel & meeting like-minded people in the natural birthing culture - people i've only read about & dreamed of meeting. this is very big news & i felt like gushing!
